Q: when i put the new cartridge the printer keeps telling me the cartridge is missing or placed wrong but when i put the old empty one it accepts it normally so there's nothing wrong with the printer itself so what's wrong with the new cartridge???
A: I have seen cartridges that electronics go bad. They can die on the shelf. If also if you take a eraser off of a regular pencil and erase the copper bums on the back side of the cartridge it will remove left over ink or anything that could be blocking its contacts. If that doesnt work then take them back. They should give you a new set.
