Q: i have an hp all in one printer c4180, i have inserted the cd and followed the instructions but for some reason it allways stops and freezes my computer on the 5/8 step of the installation. can anyone help please. i have xp.
A: MAke sure that the printer is NOT connecter. Uninstall any software for the printer that may be present. Reboot...Install the softWare for the printer...then and only hen connect the printer
