Q: I have a colour printer for printing pics from my digital camera. if i put a black ink cartridge in place of the colour one, will my colour photos print out in black and white?
A: If you could it wouldn't print anyway! A colour catridge has three holes in it and a black only has one so it wouldn't fit in the first place. This is because the cartridge sits flush on the base within the holder and the ink receptors for the print head stick up from that base. So therefore the black catridge would stick up and you couldn't lock it down with the holding clip!
