Q: My colour cartridge on my printer is empty, but I only want to print B/W pictures from my printer, but the pictures are turning out a sort of pink colour, or they are very very dark, is it because the colour cartridge is empty, or am I missing something. I use the advanced settings, clicking using glossy paper, select the print quality at best, and click on for b/w copy quality and colour, then select paper size, then click on print. any suggestions as to why I'm getting bad results. its a Lexmark 1200 series all-in-one centre
A: All of them have to be full, if you look inside your printer when printing you will notice it sprays the colour pink first as an undercoat then it sprays the other colours on top of the pink.
