Q: I am using the printer HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-one. It has scan but I don't know what the function of scan is. What and how can I do with scan. It also has photo (that can connect with a camera)and I don't know about that either.
A: a scanner which is built into your printer takes whats on the scanner glass and turns it into digital picture or format and data and then you save that document or picture right on your computer and then about the camera thing if you have a Camera to USB cord that comes with your camera you can hook it into your printer to directly print stuff off of your camera or some models of printers have memory card slots where you just take out the memory card of the camera plug it in the right slot and print so i hope this helps i put it as simple as i could
