Q: i dont mean the ones that are 4 feet high. but the small business ones that are about the size of a large crt monitor. i want to buy one but i need to know this prior.
A: The printers that produce the ozone are ones that use what they call corotron or scorotron wires to produce the charge, transfer & detack voltages for printing. Most of the desktop printers made today use rollers instead of the wires and do not produce ozone. It's been a long time since I've seen one made with wires. You should be pretty safe buying most anything small, but the only way to know for sure would be to know if they use rollers instead of wires for the high voltage charges that I mentioned above. Best of luck.
