Q: I have a hp psc 750 printer and i was wondering if and how i can make it wireless to share with the 3 laptops and 1 desktop in my house. and where i cant buy the different stuff if i can do it.
A: if you have a wireless router on XP go to control panel / Printers and Other Hardware / Printers and Faxes then right click on the printer you should see text saying "sharing" then a window will pop up with tabs. under the sharing tab there you will see 2 buttons one says do not share and the other says share. you can keep the name it has for the printer or change it. then go to your laptop go to my network places and you should see the printer you should be able to right click on it and the "set as default printer" if not go to control pannel make sure you are in catigory view and the click on printers there will be a green arrow botton that says add printer follow the wizard aslo if you don't get a laser printer you will save a ton a money
