Q:
A: Either type of printer should work OK, though the inkjet may produce better print if the envelope is fairly thick or made of heavy paper material. The things you need to take into account are: 1. size of envelope -- find a printer that has paper specifications to handle that size. 2. a printer that has a paper path that you can feed the envelope straight through instead of one where it has to bend around a couple of times is better (usually using the manual feed & a straight thru output tray.) Of course you could just print labels and stick them on the envelopes.
