Dell All-In-One Center: How to fax?

Q: I need to fax many documents. This is my first time doing it so I'm gonna need a lot of help. I have a Dell photo 926 printer/scanner/fax. Do I just click the scan then fax button? Will it need my phone number or anything else? Thanks! =)

A: You load your documents onto the glass to fax them one at a time, or you can scan them into your computer and save them into the computer and fax that way. Below are a couple of the ways: Sending a Paper Fax - Turn on your printer and computer, and make sure they are connected. Make sure your computer modem is connected to an active analog telephone line. If you have DSL broadband service on the same phone line that you are using to fax, you must also have a DSL filter installed. Contact your Internet Service Provider for information. - Load your original document. - Press the left or right Arrow button to scroll to FAX, and then press the Select button . - Press the left or right Arrow button to scroll to Fax Now, and then press the Start button . - The Dell Fax Solutions Software opens. - Click Send a new fax. - Enter the contact information of the recipient, or you can choose an existing contact from your phonebook. - Click Next. - Select a cover page, and then click Next. - Click Next. - Click Send. Sending a Fax With Attachments - You can also send multiple files or scanned documents as a single fax. - Turn on your printer and computer, and make sure they are connected.
