Q: have a lexmark x1240 printer, and been trying to print smoe papers from word...when i hit print, the screen that appears says the printer status is idle; when i go thru my computer control panel, it says the printer status is ready....i've unplugged all the cords, rebooted the comp, even deleted and re-added the computer-- nothing works! any ideas of what i need todo, have some impportant pages that need to be faxed
A: Ok, go to start>run> type (without quotes) "services.msc">scroll down to LexBce Server>right click properties>make sure startup type is automatic> and go to Remote Procedure call and do the same thing>and do the same thing for Print Spooler>restart
