Q: I have lost the plastic strip on my canon printer..I have no idea where to find a replacement strip. Without it, the printer cartridge slams itself from the left to the right when asked to print. Needless to say, the printer doesn't work without it. Any ideas where I can find this strip? Even the proper name for this little piece would be wonderful! Thanks for the replies, it's a Canon Pixma iP1500. I guess it could look like a barcode..It's white/clear kind of opaque in color if that helps. So should I call the Canon people and just say I'm missing a plastic strip..? Agh! I wish I knew the name of it!
