Q: my HP printer F300 series all in one. im trying to print something off and it says "printer offline" how to i fix that to get it to work so it will print? thanks!
A: What probably happened is you unplugged this printer from one USB port and plugged it into another. What it did was made another copy of the printer. I don't know why XP does this, but it does. If you go under Control Panel and then go into Pritners and Faxes, you should 2 printers listed. (You might have to switch between classic and category view in Control Panel) One will say Copy 1. One will say that it is online. The other will say that it is offline. If that is the case, right click the one that is online and change that to your default printer.
