Q: Whenever I try to print something off my computer, my printer doesn't print anything, but spits out blank pages - continually. What's up with that? BTW, it's about five years old... does that have anything to do with it?
A: Because your computer is 5 years old, it could have broken or worn out and that is your cause. However, your ink might have dried out if you didn't use it for a while. Try replacing the ink. If the ink is good, try running the head cleaning utility but if pages are still completely blank, the head cleaning will not help. The second thing you should do is completely uninstall your current printer driver and install a new one which you can download from the manufacturer's website. Also, the troubleshooting techniques and solutions will vary greatly depending o the type of your printer. Is it an inkjet? A laserjet?
