Q: For the last two weeks I have been getting the message on the Epson status monitor 'parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation' There is absolutely nothing wrong with my printer, it prints perfectly (it is 3 years old) but today the lights keep flashing and it won't print. How can I get it to print again?
A: This is epson's little thank you for your business, "screw you". What has happened is that you printer has a preset h\number of pages it will print before it decides it needs to be serviced by epson. This is regardless of whether or not your printer is printing fine or not. You can download a piece of software that will override this, it will also override your ink level and pretty much any other irritating feature epson has integrated. Be advise use this responsibly, if you run your printer with an empty cartridge you will damage the printer. http://inkjetprinterhelp.us/epsonSSC.html
