Q: I uninstalled the driver because the printer stopped working, the tried reinstalling it and got the message "This operation requires an interactive windows station". I tried calling canon, they went through everything with me and when we got to this message he put me on hold then after 20 minutes on hold I guess he just hung up on me because the hold music stopped playing and it sayed call ended on my phone. Please help!!! I need this to print lecture notes for my class in two days!!!!
A: This is really odd. You may want to completely disconnect and unplug your printer and try again. If that doesn't work, you may want to grab a new printer driver from the Canon site: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=DownloadIndexAct And lastly, and this is a long shot, there are known issues with USB cables connecting to this printer. If you don't already have one, I'd suggest using a DS (double shielded) USB printer cable.
