A: Before changing the ink cartridge. Try inspect it first for possible defective nozzles. If none, try cleaning the contacts with a lint free cloth and distilled water. avoid touching the nozzles. try to check the carriage as well and clean it with the same. It's possible that the ink cartridge is not properly seated and some ink spills on the carriage itself. Turn off the printer if you want to clean it with a lint free cloth moistened with distilled water. Lint free since nozzles are too fine. Distilled ware to do away with possible contaminants found in tap water.
