Q: Ok...well, first off, my family is not good with computers. I need help FAST! You see, my mom is trying to print out tickets to go to an amusement park, and we can not print it out on our home computer from her e-mail. She has already purchced the tickets and it was about $130...that will go to waste! I seriously think I have tried everything! I tried to hook up our extra printer, but whenever I go to the control pannel and click 'add printer' it doesn't show up as the plug and play. Yes, i am not dumb, and i pluged in the printer (lol). Please help me and FAST! I need to get this done within about two hours. Thanks so much and please help me!
A: If your home computer has a printer attached to it but won't print, use ctrl and p keys at the same time. That's the DOS print command which works in all Windows except Vista. A printer is detected "plug and play" when you plug it into the computer if it's usb. Be sure to turn off the computer before plugging in a printer that isn't usb, otherwise you will fry the parallel port.
