Q: I have a 3-year-old HP Officejet All-In-One 4215 . I cannot find the installations disks, so even though my computer "found" the printer, I cannot print. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
A: 1. Download the drivers from HP's website. Here is the link for the Officejet 4215: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=351106&lang=en Be aware that there are 3 versions of the 4215 ( the 4215, the 4215v and the 4215xi. Make sure you are downloading the correct drivers for you model (though they may be a universal driver). http://search.hp.com/query.html?cc=us&lang=en&qt=Officejet+4215&la=en 2. Run the "install program" after downloading the software. Do not plug in the printer until it tells you to. And if the "add new hardware wizard" comes up during the install, cancel out of it.
