What old laser printers have higher power laser diodes.?

Q: I am trying to find an old laser printer for a good diode. I need to know what brands/models of OLD printers have a 100mW or higher diode or module and would prefer 620-660nm or anything visible but IR will do. I dont want to go and buy a new one.... I would rather get someones old broken one since usually the diodes are still functional for what i want to use it for and much much cheaper.

A: Typically those have very low-powered diodes, 5 mW to 30 mW at most. Some VERY high perf units may have higher, but I seriously doubt they'd go up to 100 mW or higher, and they'd all be IR. If you want visible light, you may be better off ORDERING one. I think Sanyo laser diodes, in the 80 mW range, are like $45 each. If you must have higher power... Well...
