A: I recommend Epson because of the print quality and the warranty. For a year Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. Ink cartridges are expensive, but you can get cheap replacements for $5 and less which work well here http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp You can look at the cx series scanner/copier/printer (cx7400/cx8400). You can find the printers at buy.com, usually in the $60-$70 range BEFORE rebates, if any. If you want higher photo quality, look at the R280 line which uses 5 separate colors plus black. And for top of the line, look at the R800 which uses 6 separate colors plus 2 different black.
