Q: i think i ruined one alreadt i pulled off the orange piece of plastic and there was what seemed to be a piece of tape attached to it i kept pulling and i noticed color on it. i cannot figure out what i am supposed to do with it now. how do i put this thing in? PLEASE HELP
A: So far what you did is correct. The orange tab with plastic strip attached was the sealing tape used to keep the toner inside the cartridge until ready to use. You're supposed to pull that completely off when you're ready to use it. Open the front door of your printer all the way down, pull out the color of cartridge you're going to replace and insert the new one in the same direction that the old one was. Close the door and let the printer run through its calibration process and you should be ready to go. Best of luck.
