Q: I bought an HP Printer/Scanner when I bought my HP laptop but I'm trading my HP to my dad and getting a more portable, cheaper laptop for college so I was wondering if that printer/scanner can work with my laptop? I'm almost positive that it can but I just wanted to make sure since I don't want to buy a new printer when I have a perfectly good one right now.
A: It will work great for you so long as you have the right drivers. If your old HP used Windows XP, you may need drivers for Windows Vista which can be downloaded from the HP site is all. Although you can also try the drivers on the CD that came with the printer.
