Q: My teacher scans his lectures into pdf format but I can't extract the text from them because he must scan them as pictures. If I were to print the pdf, would I also waste ink and print the white part as well? Many thanks for you help. :)
A: no. Unless the background was sort of whitish yellow, then no. There is no white ink, printers just print it as blank.
