My inkjet printer is out of cyan. Can I force it to think it's not empty so I can print a black page?

Q: It's a Canon ip4200 and it won't let me print anything, even a page that doesn't use any cyan. I just need to print one thing ASAP! Bummer, changing the default to grayscale didn't work. It didn't fool the printer. Ugh! Any other ideas? Aha! I figured it out. I hit the resume button. I think it let the printer think that I was in the middle of a document and just wanted to finish the one before replacing the cartridge. Thanks for the ideas though!

A: -Go to the print menu -Then go to the Properties or Setup -Depending on you set up you might need to go to Properties again -Look for the Color tab -You will see an option to print in Black or Grayscale
