Q: My dad's computer has Windows ME and he is having trouble finding a printer that is compatible. I told him that just updating to XP would be the better solution, but he doesn't want to spend the money. So does anyone know of printers that are compatible with ME?
A: It's hard to compile a list, since there are many printers and many manufacturer's. Generally speaking, almost no recent printers that are connected via USB are compatible. I was able to find a (short) list of printers that still have Windows 98/ME drivers available.
