Q: I Have A Printer, HP Photosmart C5280, and I want to know how to print CDs And DVDs on it.Anyone Have An Idea??10 Points Garunteed!!
A: To print labels, you have to pull out the accessory on the bottom of the device. Right below the 8 1/2 by 11 paper tray on the left side is where the accessory is. Once you have that accessory pulled out, look at the middle (centered horizontally) or the printer right below the buttons where it says "cd/dvd." Pull that thing down. Stick the printing accessory on the right side of that thing you just pulled down. I think there is also a special kind of disk that you can print directly on the surface. Printing labels is the best for quality. HP also has a technology called Light Scribe. What scribe will etch a label right on the disc inside the drive using the laser. You just put the disc in the drive upside down to label it using light scribe. This comes with any brand new Compaq and HP notebooks and desktops. You can also buy a seperate internal and external HP optical disc drive right from Best Buy. The labels won't be as pretty, but they are much less problematic.
