Q: ok I have an HP 1310 printer and I installed it and it's been working fine for the past 2 years, but now it says that the printer is connected and when you go into that window to see if it responded it shows the document you want to print. The thing is though it won't. I'm not the greatest with pc's and laptops and all that stuff so if anyone could help me I'd really love it.
A: Kindly follow these steps in troubleshooting your printer. 1.) Replace your cable connecting the printer to the PC with a new one. 2.)If it's not cable problem, then try uninstalling the printer drive then reinstall it again. 3.)If it's not the software, bring your printer to your friend's pc and connect it to his/her pc, then if it works to your friend's pc, you must have a Motherboard Port Problem or Sofware Driver Installation Problem.
