Q: Is it a powder form of ink cartridges for laser printers only? Can you get different colours in them or only black? Do you know any websites that sell colour (if available). I want the blue print effect that was used to print architectural plans with but I have heard they do not use that no more.
A: Toner is the equivalent of ink in a ink jet. It's stuck to the paper by heat to put it simply. Yes you have the primary colours for the laser as well as black. Blue prints were made long before computers and table/plotter printers. It was the equivalent of Photostatting. Very old hat now.
