Q: I looked at Canon, they have to low of print speeds..out of date.
A: I have an out of date Canon Pixma; an HP Photosmart; and a new Brother all-in-one. The Canon is the fastest, followed by the Photosmart. The Brother is OK but if I don't properly fan both ends of the paper before loading into the tray it has trouble picking up only one sheet and so keeps jamming. Still, it was only a cheap machine that I bought because I wanted a cheap scanner and fax machine independent of the PC. The print quality for text matches the far more expensive Photosmart. Can't say what it's like for pictures, because I always put them through the Photosmart.
