I have a Epson RX560 printer. I tipped slightly while putting the plug in. Now it won't work, any ideas why?

Q: I have unplugged it, and switched it on and off. That didn't help. I can't get to the ink carriage to check the inks are set all right, because nothing seems to work, although I have power to it. All I am getting is a flickering error light when I switch it on. On screen it said error 47. Any help, I'd be grateful! Cassandra I found paper trapped under the feeder bar, and in clearing it, solved the problem myself. Judging by the data I scanned through, the problems of printers are many! Cassie Stamatios. I wondered the same thing. It would have saved me loads of time instead of messing about trying to solve the problem! Thank you for your answer... Cassandra

A: Well, that's interesting. I wonder if the manual attributes error 47 to jammed paper. And if so, why quote error 47 rather than "paper jam" like other printers (such as Canon) do. Any way, it's good that you found the problem and you won't be wondering what to do next time.
