Q: I am trying to install a new printer. I need to figure out what port number it is in. It is not the usual big printer cord like I used to use. Was on lpt 2 I believe. But it is a usb port connection. Can anyone tell me how to find out the port number? Forgot to say that I got printer from sister, I have no cd for it. I also have tried the "found new hardware" automatic feature. But it could not locate my lexmark z 705 printer. Any suggestions?
