Q: I just got this printer/scanner/copier and i installed the cd on two of my computers at home to function wirelessly. The problem is, when i press the scann button on the device, only one of the computers shows. I should be able to choose between the two of them but for some reason only one shows up. I've checked both pc's and they are connected and i can make it do a scan from either one but if i want to do a quick scan from the device itself, i'm stuck with only one option. Also, Hp's software is confusing as hell, would it be ok if i removed it and just used the drivers like on an old fashioned printer?
A: i would leave the software on there. everytime i tried to uninstall i would be greeted with a screen that i could not remove telling me there is a error, insert the HP disk, and it would cover 50% of the screen and not move! try having your printer on and starting up each computer, then it might work.
