Q: I got one yesterday for and early mothers day gift. it came with an ink cartridge and i printed 3 pictures and now i am out of ink. i was wondering what kind of ink i need to buy to get more pictures to print. i was using 4" x 6" paper. how many pictures will i be able to print??
A: The ink cartidges that are pre instaled on most new printers are never full, they are intended to get you "up and running", so getting only 3 prints out of your cartridge doesn't mean that the printer is "eating" ink! It will depend on the settings you choose on how much ink you use, and therefore how many prints you will get, lower settings = less ink used = more prints.
