Q: everything prints but the blue color~~therefore i get orangish pics!! Help please~~ it worked since oct. 2007 when i bought it~~just changed cartridges~~
A: You may have a bad cyan cartridge. First, take it out and check to be sure you've removed all of the packing/sealing tape & stuff from it. Check the slot where it goes and make sure the contacts are clean in there and on the cartridge. Shake the cartridge a couple of times then try reseating the cartridge a couple of times. Try wiping the printhead of the cartridge with a lint free cloth preferably (a tissue will work ok if nothing else) to see if any color is coming out of the printheads, if none - bad cartridge, if good color coming out - possibly bad cartridge still (not working with printer properly) or bad connections to contacts. Otherwise you may have to just try a different cartridge. Is your old one useable at all? You can try it back in there to see if it works but your new one doesn't. Hopefully this will help.
