Q: I am using P4, 1018 HP laser printer with win XP. Now my printer does not work. message says print spooler is not working (spoolsrv.exe). i checked the win service and the spoolsrv.exe is activated.no problem with printer drivers. what to do next?
A: Easiest way to fix this is reinstall the printer. In Control Panel go to Printers and Faxes. Delete your printer. Then Add a New Printer. The Wizard will take you through reinstalling it.
