Q: If it helps, it is an Epson Stylus CX7400
A: That printer has a USB connection. It probably comes with an install CD, too. You should be able to just plug the printer into your laptop, and run some program off the CD to install the right driver. There should be instructions in the box, but if not, Google the name of your printer, and look for the software and instructions on the Epson site. If you mean, your printer is connected to a computer on your home network, and you want to get to it over wireless, check with a tech-savvy friend. You'll need to go to that computer, and share the printer on the network. Then you'll need to connect to it on your laptop. Ask the friend to help you.
