Q: I'm trying to print a page that has a picture and text but the text on the page is faded when I print it and the picture is clear.I tried printing as a word document-adding the picture and then typing the text, then I tried printing it with my Digital imaging program-added the picture then added text.I got the same result with both of them. I have lots of ink and I checked my printer settings and everything is normal.I can print other documents just fine. Can you help me quickly? What am I doing wrong?
A: When some printers print in color mode, the black cartridge isn't used. The printer emulates black by mixing several colors. There may be a setting that allows you to force the printer in a particular mode. Another setting problem is that some printers have a "proof" mode. In this mode, the printer prints lightly to conserve ink.
