Q: I'm trying to print off some pdf files but my printer is out of black ink. How can I change the font colour/set up my printer to print only using coloured ink? I have a HP Deskjet F380. Thanks
A: Try going to the properties of your printer (in your printer directory in your Control Panel). There should be a setting there to allow you to print in colour only. Keep in mind though that all this means is that the printer will draw from both the colour and B&W cartridge in many cases. I'm sure there are some printers that will "make" black, or as close as it can, from your coloured cartridge but in many cases it uses the black AND colour to do the full range. Give it a try and if not, you will have to spring for a new black cartridge.
