Q: I have an HP 1500 printer. It has colored ink but only prints in black and white. I did not set it to print in grayscale, and it says that it prints in color! What is going on?
A: Check the printer Settings by going to Control Panel>Printers and Faxes>Select your printer HP 1500>Right Click>Select Properties>In General Tab select Printing Preferences>Select Paper/Quality>Select Color in Color Field>Click Ok. or, check the PRINT SETTINGS of the Software (MS Office/Photoshop/Irfanview etc) which you use to print your picture or doc. If this doesn't fix your problem, try this steps : 1. uninstall your printer driver (using the ADD or REMOVE Programs from CONTROL PANEL) 2. shutdown your computer 3. un-plug the USB cable. 4. start ur computer again. 5. load the printer driver disc in your ROM (CD/DVD) 6. plug-in the USB cable and let the system search for the driver. if it need your assistance, help ur computer. 7. Check all the settings again and print. If this still doesn't help you, get the guy next door you always have a crush on and let him do it...this might be your lucky day... GOOD LUCK
