Q: hi, our hp all in one printer is unable to send or receive faxes although we have been able to before. we tried the support website but didn't learn much. please help. any suggestion appreciated
A: I think Mustafa Yusuf is right, but I wouldn't do it in that order. I would: 1st. Turn off everything. 2nd. Check my phone (recieve a fax and make sure it makes the fax sound). 3rd. Check my connections(cables, wires and plugs), including modem. 4th.. Turn on my printer/fax (do a diagnostic test) 5th. Turn on my computer. 6th. Try to print to the fax/printer. 7th. Try to send and recieve a fax. 8th. Try repair the fax/printer software under Add or Remove. (make sure you have the original program cd's and authorization codes.) 9th. Try removing and then installing the fax/printer software. Good Luck
