Q: install the printer that came along with my system, which is an hp psc 700 series version 1.0.0 but when I place the CD into the CD Drive it runs and then a small grey box shows up on the screen that says that hp doesn't support Windows 5.0 5.1 5.2 WHAT? I'm using Windows XP and this is the printer that came with the system. Someone please shine some lite on me. I would really appreciate it.
A: only thing i can think of is. make sure you didn't plug in the the printer before you put in the cd. if you did unplug the printer and then put in cd first. then run if it works shut down pc off. plug in the printer then turn it on
