Q: Why won't the graph that shows the estimated ink levels, work with re manufactured cartridges?
A: The only cartridges that currently have a fuse in them are the Epson Nine-pin cartridges (69, 77, 78, 88 series). HP does not have the fuse built into the cartridge, they do though have some that have chips that need to be replaced, but no fuse. The chips go off from date. The ink levels will work with some cartridges and not others, it just depends on the printer and the cartridges, if they want to place nice. I tell my customers not to believe the ink levels, cause as you have pointed out they are "estimated ink level" only. I have seen brand new hp cartridges register as empty in the customers printer that are not, and empty cartridges register as 75% full. Believe what is coming out of your printer for quality. If the quality looks bad, it is either your cartridge is empty or the cartridge needs to be cleaned. How long has it been since you replaced the cartridges last time. If the cartridge lasted you 4 months, at three months out, buy another cartridge.
