Raising Vcore voltage for stable overclock...?

Q: I currently just built a new Intel Q6600 with a XFX nforce6 AMI Bios motherboard. The BIOS allows me to adjust the FSB, thus overclocking the CPU, but it won't let me raise the Vcore voltage to stabilize it. It seems pointless to even allow an overclocking feature if you cannot slightly raise the voltage. Any suggestions?

A: You can most likely get a decent 2.8 overclock on stock voltage. Have you did a bios update for your board? Perhaps a bios update will have voltage increases in there...
