Q: Something similar also happens with windows. With something like AIM, when I type, i would suddenly be out of the window and not in any other window in particular. How do I fix this?
A: it sounds like some other running program is stealing focus, forcing itself to the front... maybe some internet protection suite is attempting to notify you of something... or a windows alert is kicking up, forcing everything else to the background.
