Missing pin on hard-drive interface-how can I jerry rig it?

Q: I have a hard drive where one of the pins has broken off. I cant seem to find any way of completing this pins circuit so I can read and save the hard drive. Any thoughts? 200 GB Seagate HD left to right the 10th pin of the top row has broken off. If I could make the connection I could save the ontents of this drive.

A: You could buy the exact same drive and gently and carefully remove the pcb which includes the IDE connector and replace the one on the broken drive to get data off. I've done it before on supposedly dead drives and I know some data recovery shops do the same. Just be carefull...You could be out 2 drives.
