A: YES. It will work. I had the same experience, having a PCI Express x16 Slot and I added a PCI Express 2.0 9800GX2 1GB and it worked/works. Every PCI Express 2.0 card will work perfectly on PCI Express x16 slot. Its a Nice Graphics Card for Crysis !! (Very High 1600x1200 at 29FPS average).
