A: Greetings By theory new PCIe 2.0 adapters running at 5.0 GT/S can plug into existing PCIe slots and run at the slower rate of 2.5 GT/S". By actual experience, there are some motherboards such as the Asus Blitz series that have a specific problem. ( Asus Blitz main boards based on Intel P35 chipset ) These boards have 2 PCIe 16x slots and you must use the primary for the new 2.0 version. Otherwise no joy and no graphics. Also limits you in the sli/crossfire abilities. So you need to go to your manufactures website and see if your affected. Again it is a rare case, but you should have a look. Regards Siz
