Partitioning Computer?

Q: We are trying to delete ALL files on a computer in bios and reinstalling windows xp on it, there are four patitions when we delete each partition it says Unpartitions space as you delete them this goes up. we were wondering if the same applies to C: Drive? Can you delete the C: Drive partition and then bring it back with no space used in it? And still reinstall windows?

A: Hello. I'm not sure if I understand your question completely. You're asking if you can delete the partition that C: (Windows) is on and then re-create it to reinstall windows?? If so then the answer is yes, as long as you have the Windows installation CD. You will lose EVERYTHING on that partition once you remove it though, so if you have any files, documents, pictures or songs you would like to save then make sure you back them up before re-partitioning. Hope this helps.
