Q: Will it erase any info,movies,music or anything I want to keep and will running disc clean up do this also?
A: No, it should not erase saved items. It will delete your search history, recycle bin, trash. It will free up space. I don't know how often you should do it, but I do when my computer starts running a little slow. xox
