Q: my little brother spilled water on my laptop, ( while i was at best buy purchasing a new 1 tera byte back-up harddrive...grrr!!) and now it wont start. How can i extract all of that information?
A: assuming you can do it remove the hard drive from the laptop and get a 2.5 ide to 3.5 inch ide converter plug the drive into the 2.5 end and plug the 3.5 end into another pc ide port make sure you alter the cmos to boot off that drive an assuming the other pc can handle it press f8 on startup for safe mode and go from there.
